UPRISING RECRUITING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Written by Inspire FM Newsdesk on October 8, 2019
Young people aged between 18-25 have been encouraged to apply for UpRising’s latest leadership programmes.
The programmes are made up of fortnightly skills, knowledge and campaign sessions where participants will engage with and learn from current leaders from a wide range of sectors.
The induction evening for the Luton and Bedford initiatives take place on 24 October 2019.
Through the programme, participants will have extensive opportunities to develop their confidence, knowledge, skills, networks, social mindedness and wellbeing, gaining a wealth of experience that can be used on CV’s, applications and interviews.
In the photo, you can see MP Gavin Shuker with local young people at a Community Question Time that took place at Stockwood Park Academy three years ago.
“We are on the look-out for the next gang of green heroes to join our first Environmental Leadership programme in Bedfordshire,” read an UpRising statement.
“We connect you with the UK’s top environmental change-makers, to gain the leadership know-how and transform the world around you.
“It’s a free, part-time and nine-months and is all designed to fit around your work, study or other commitments.”
