Young people from our town will step into the Dragons’ Den this week as the Be Inspired Young Leaders & Community Volunteering programme enters its final few days.

Think you’ve got what it takes to impress the Dragons? Then you need to come along to show off your entrepreneurial flair.

The workshop will run from Farley Community Centre, Delphine Close, LU1 5RE at 12.30pm to 3.30pm on Wed 21 Aug.

It is aimed at those 11 years of age and over and is being run by the Youth Network.

To book your child onto this, you must call/text 07930 105 106 or email futures@inspirefm.org.

There will be Amazon vouchers for the best ideas.

The Dragons’ Den project helps local young people learn business skills, receive mentor support and apply their insight to run a business in Luton.

Youth Network believes that investing in young people’s ideas so they can build on their personal skills, and develop their employability potential and entrepreneurial ideas, is a great way to learn and have fun.

The Be Inspired programme has been facilitated by Inspire FM and has been working with a number of charities and organisations to give young people an opportunity to broaden their skill set.

It is being hosted by Unleashing Potential and Next Generation Scheme and is part of Luton Borough Council’s Your Say, Your Way funding programme.

We would love to hear from you. If you have a community story that deserves to be heard, then get in touch. Email news@inspirefm.org or call the newsdesk on 01582 48 18 10.
