Terms and Conditions for Inspire FM’s 25-Year Anniversary Competition
1. How to Enter
1.1 No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
1.2 To enter the competition, entrants must (a) answer the daily question correctly via SMS/WhatsApp to 07779 481822; (b) provide their name and email address with their answer; (c) agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 The competition starts on Tuesday 13 December 2022 at 8am and ends on Friday 16 December 2022 at 9am.
1.4 The daily question will be announced on-air between 8am and 8:10am each day.
1.4 Entries to the competition will open each day at 8am and close at 9am the same day. Entries received after this will not be accepted.
1.5 Inspire FM will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
1.6 Inspire FM reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 This competition is open to all UK residents except employees of Inspire FM, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the competition.
2.2 Entrants under the age of 18 must get consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering. The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of entrants under the age of 18 agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entrant.
2.3 Only one entry per person is permitted on each competition day.
2.4 Winners of the competition may enter again but will not be put forward to the draw.
2.5 In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so.
3. The Winner
3.1 A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within 24 hours of each competition ending.
3.2 The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) within 48 hours of being chosen and must confirm acceptance of the prize. If a winner does not respond to Inspire FM within 24 hours of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Inspire FM will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
3.3 The prize will be sent to the winner within 14 days of responding to Inspire FM.
3.4 The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending an email to info@inspirefm.org within 60 days of the closing date of the competition.
3.5 Inspire FM reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
4. The Prize
4.1 The winner will receive 2 tickets to Inspire FM’s 25-Year Anniversary Celebration event.
4.2 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
4.3 In the event of the advertised prize being unavailable for whatever reason, Inspire FM reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of an equivalent value.
4.4 The decision of Inspire FM regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, Inspire FM, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of any entrant entering this competition, taking up the prize, or as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Inspire FM, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6. Data Protection and Publicity
6.1 By entering into the competition you acknowledge and agree to the storing and processing of your personal data by Inspire FM, or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition in accordance with Inspire FM’s Privacy Policy which is available at www.inspirefm.org/privacy-and-cookie-policy.
6.2 The winners name and county will be published and/or become available. If you would like to object to this or limit the information published and/or made available please email info@inspirefm.org. In any case, Inspire FM has an obligation to share these details with governing bodies (i.e. the ASA) if requested.
6.3 The winner may be required to participate in publicity and agrees to the use of their name, location (town/city) and photo being used for publicity and news purposes.
6.4 All personal information shall be used in accordance with Inspire FM’s Privacy Policy.
7. General
7.1 The winners agree to keep confidential information about the prize including, but not limited to, the date, venue and timing.
7.2 The competition will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
7.3 Inspire FM reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or update these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
