The Careers & Mentoring Club will be running its first session of the year on Saturday 15 February.

Make sure your child is signed up for the session, which takes place on the first day of the half-term break.

The network of local professionals provides opportunities to help young people (aged 12-16) fulfil their career ambitions and learn valuable skills.

The workshop will take place at Farley Community Centre, Delphine Close, between 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

If you would like to register your child for the workshop, please contact us on 07930 105 106 or on

“We want to ensure each young person within our communities is able to aim high,” said Amar Azam, a Project Manager for Unleashing Potential.

“We were pleased to see our network of local professionals grow over the course of last year, and we are excited about the plans for supporting young people in their development.”

The date for the following session is Saturday 7 March and will be part of charity Unleashing Potential’s work during British Science Week.

The network supports the development of young people by providing them opportunities to develop their teamwork, communication and leadership skills.

Amar added: “There is so much talent within our young people, and working with these mentors, we know that they will be a success in their lives.”
